Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking of services provided by Response Creative Education to educational institutions (“the School”). By booking a workshop, the School agrees to these terms.

Bookings & Confirmation

A booking is considered legally confirmed only when Response Creative Education issues a formal booking confirmation email or invoice to the School.

Workshops can be booked as 1-hour sessions or full-day delivery, as specified in the confirmation agreement.

Fees & Payment Terms

All fees will be clearly outlined in writing prior to booking.

Invoices will be issued upon booking confirmation or immediately following service delivery.

Payment Term: The School agrees to settle all invoices within 30 days of the invoice date via bank transfer.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that school schedules can change unpredictably. Our policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event: No fee incurred; any deposit paid will be refunded or carried forward.
  • Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the event: 50% of the total booking fee is payable.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total booking fee is payable.
  • Force Majeure: If a workshop must be cancelled due to extreme weather, unexpected school closure, or facilitator illness, both parties will work in good faith to reschedule the date at no extra cost.

School Responsibilities & Classroom Environment

Staff Supervision: In accordance with our Safeguarding Statement, a teacher or authorised school staff member must remain present in the classroom for the entire duration of the workshop. Response Creative Education facilitators are not responsible for sole supervision or student disciplinary actions.

Preparation: The School agrees to provide a suitable room and any standard AV equipment (e.g., projector or screen, if requested) required for the session.

Intellectual Property

All curriculum designs, workshop templates, presentations, and physical resources created by Response Creative Education remain our exclusive intellectual property.

The School is permitted to keep student handouts provided during the session but must not replicate, alter, distribute, or sell our curriculum materials for external use.

Liability

Response Creative Education maintains Public Liability Insurance up to £5,000,000.

We accept no liability for any indirect loss, disruption, or disciplinary issues that arise outside or after our instructional workshop hours.
